The GAUNTLET, Virginia’s LARGEST Business Program and Competition, is a dynamic 10-week business development program and competition that connects entrepreneurs to resources! Entrepreneurs will attend weekly training sessions. In addition, they will have the opportunity to meet and network with successful entrepreneurs, fellow GAUNTLET participants, and mentors.

Calling all Innovators, Inventors, Businesses who want to scale:

Innovation Mill Consulting and new Virginia Innovation Accelerator are inspired by emerging high growth industries in the area as well as the continued growth of the new and early stage businesses to advance dynamic economies in the community. Innovation Mill Consulting may assist with a full range of innovative services to help set the vision, evaluate data, address expansion issues, commercialization, address legal work steps (FDA, UPC, IP, etc.), tackle perceived manufacturing/modeling pinch points, develop processes, and scale. Companies will work alongside their own Business Innovation and Development (BID) team to innovate, pivot, and expand their company.

The Accelerator serves as a regional business accelerator for agricultural value-added product development, small scale manufacturing, and community revitalization through innovation, commercialization services, and business incubation services.

The Advancement Foundation offers workshops throughout the year to help you build your network while you refine your model, focus on customer feedback, and start pursuing your dream. Topics include a broad overview for business development to highly focused topics such as, grant writing, government procurement, marketing on a budget, agricultural innovations, small scale manufacturing, creating raving fans, and much more.
